About Dr. Ueda-Lang

Dr. Noriko Ueda-Lang is from Japan and moved to the USA, graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.  After graduation, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a researcher. During this time, Dr.Ueda-Lang developed an interest in holistic health treatments and became a massage therapist. While working as a massage therapist, Dr.Ueda-Lang developed back problems.  None of the medical doctors could determine the cause of the pain, but after 3 months of intense treatment with an acupuncturist, she was pain free. At that time, it was clear to her that she wanted to be an acupuncturist.  She moved with her family to San Diego to pursue her dream.  After 4 years, she graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.  Her passion is to have one more healthier person in town than yesterday.  She treats adult and pediatric preventative conditions, sports related conditions and acute/chronic pain.  When she is not at her office, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, snowboarding, cooking, and watching her kids play baseball. She is determined to give the best treatment for each individual.
