Meet Dr. Ueda-Lang

Originally from Japan, Dr. Noriko Ueda-Lang moved to the United States and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She began her professional journey as a pharmaceutical researcher. After the birth of her first child, she developed persistent back pain that conventional medicine could not resolve.
Having always been drawn to holistic wellness, she turned to acupuncture—and after three months of consistent treatment, she became pain-free. This transformative experience inspired her to pursue a new path in acupuncture and integrative healing.
Dr. Ueda-Lang relocated with her family to San Diego, where she earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science. She is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and a licensed Kinesiotape Instructor. Combining these disciplines, she offers a personalized, whole-body approach to healing and wellness.
Blending her Japanese heritage with her clinical expertise, Dr. Ueda-Lang practices a gentle style of Japanese acupuncture focused on body alignment, subtle technique, and energetic balance. She specializes in treating adults and children for preventive care, sports-related injuries, and conditions related to autonomic nervous system dysfunction.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ueda-Lang enjoys running, hiking, camping, snowboarding, cooking, and supporting her children at baseball and basketball games. Her practice is rooted in the Japanese philosophy of healing—centered on compassion, precision, and trust in the body’s innate capacity to restore itself.
